All Hearing assessments include:
- Otoscopy – examination of the health of the ear canal, ear drum & middle ear using an Otoscope.
- Pure Tone Audiometry – assessment of hearing thresholds bilaterally across the 250Hx – 8kHz frequency range.
- Tympanometry – assessment of middle ear function with the use of a Tympanometer or Middle Ear Analyser.
- Speech Audiometry – assessment of the ability to discriminate spoken word.
- Listening in Noise & Auditory Processing Assessments are available as required or requested.
Written reports are provided with all Hearing Assessments at no extra charge. This insures doctors, other health professionals & schools have the most up to date medical information.
